Sam

Sam is a twenty-something, graduate student studying American Politics in Washington, D.C.  She is a chronic insomniac with a penchant for baking. She is a fan of all things relating to America, brunches, road trips, inside jokes, country music, pad thai, and the color green. Sam can always be found with a book or article in hand, unless an SVU marathon is on USA Network. As a self-diagnosed shopaholic she is likely to fill this blog with stories of things she wants to buy but cannot afford on a graduate student salary. Sam is occasionally funny, but more often funny things happen to her. In fact, her crowning achievement is being a two-time winner of the award for being her best friends' favorite person to laugh at. She's a baseball hat collector, sometime wearer and a Diet Coke addict. Admit-tingly, she may also suffer from "Big Sister Syndrome" but is currently enjoying her time as the baby of her cohort. Sam is also a part-time philanthropist and a support of equal rights for all. To spot her on the street look for the girl in pearls, a quarter-zip, and Sperry's. Occasionally she might wear a dress.
